Operation Red Nose
Helping people get home safely is always one of the NSLC’s top priorities. The NSLC is pleased to be the provincial sponsor of Operation Red Nose during this holiday season. This year, Safety Services Nova Scotia will be local host within Halifax Regional Municipality administering the program with the goal of making roads safer during this festive time of year.
Operation Red Nose is a free service that provides a reliable ride home for drivers and their vehicle. The red-vested volunteers will be on the roads Friday and Saturday nights, beginning November 25 through December 17, 2011. Operation Red Nose volunteers accept client donations and all proceeds benefit Safe Grad programs.
