Water Safety Nova Scotia is a province surrounded by water. During our short but glorious summer months, Nova Scotians seem to spend as much time near water as possible. After months of winter weather and indoor activity, everyone is anxious to get outside and enjoy social occasions. At the NSLC, it’s important to remind Nova Scotians to make responsible decisions when enjoying summer activities around water.
The effects of alcohol are potentially more dangerous when combined with activities around the water. Lack of judgment, coordination and balance can lead to dangerous or deadly consequences.
At the NSLC, we remind everyone to enjoy summer responsibly.
