Port of Wines Festival
The Port of Wines Festival is Nova Scotia’s premier wine event, showcasing unique and award-winning wines from all over the world. This year’s festival will take place September 24-27th and focus on France, our 2014 feature country.

Grand Tastings – Tickets on Sale NOW!
Over 4,000 people attend the Grand Tasting sessions over the course of the two day tasting event. Over 300 wines are showcased and available for sampling, with a large selection of festival-only offerings. Guests have the exclusive opportunity to purchase the wines they sample at the on-site store.

Tickets for the 2014 Port of Wines Festival Grand Tastings are on sale now at select NSLC stores and through TicketAtlantic.com. Session times are:

  • Friday, September 26th 1:00-4:00pm
  • Friday, September 26th 7:00-10:00pm (SOLD OUT)
  • Saturday, September 27th 1:00-4:00pm
  • Saturday, September 27th 7:00-10:00pm (SOLD OUT)

Winemakers' Dinner and Auctions
The Winemakers’ Dinner and Auction is one of Nova Scotia’s most prestigious celebrations of food and music. This event includes a four-course dinner and wine pairing and features a special performance by Symphony Nova Scotia. Cuisine for the evening is inspired by France, our featured country. A silent and live auction is held at this event, with all funds raised going to Symphony Nova Scotia.

This year’s Winemakers’ Dinner will be on Thursday, September 25th and tickets are $180+tax per person for $1440 plus tax for a table of eight. For ticket inquiries, please click HERE.

An Evening with ... the Wines of France
Explore the unique wines of Southern France and Bordeaux during this exclusive tasting and dining experience. To help bring the wines to life, chief winemakers and experts from the wineries will take you on a journey of the senses as we learn about Bordeaux and the sub-regions of Southern France, including Provence, Languedoc and the Rhone Valley. If you want to know about French wine, this evening will help unlock the mystery as you savour delicious food pairings along the way.

This year's event will be held at the Prince George Hotel on Wednesday, September 24th and includes four flights of wine (8 wines in total) with small plates pairings. Tickets are $110 plus tax per person and can be purchased HERE.
