It is the NSLC policy that all purchasing and tendering activity must be conducted in an open, fair and consistent manner on a best value basis, by stimulating a blend of competitive pricing consistent with desired quality, service, delivery and technical expertise.

This policy shows an intention to carry out all purchases by the NSLC in harmony with other government departments, agencies and Crown Corporations an in accordance with the Atlantic Procurement Agreement as required. Tendering for construction work will be in compliance with the standard documents issued by the Canadian Construction Association.

All corporate procurement efforts are managed by the NSLC’s Supply Chain Business Unit to ensure that the guidelines and procedures of this policy are followed by all NSLC employees involved in the procurement of material goods, facilities, and services.
