The NSLC’s Holiday campaign “The Reaper”, continues the NSLC’s tradition of promoting responsible consumption of beverage alcohol in a non-traditional manner. Through the use of humour, this approach positively positions and promotes drinking responsibly by examining the affect that responsible drinking would have on the Grim Reaper.

The main character, Gulliver Grim II, takes a likeable personality as he tells his plight from a successful collector of souls to an unemployed reaper. He is shown trying new jobs, attempting new past-times and trying to become a community member. Gulliver’s attempts to “fit in” are shown in a light and memorable manner, successfully illustrating that drinking responsibly leaves the Grim Reaper with only one thing to kill…time.
