A tour of Nova Scotia’s farmers’ markets.

Produce at a farmer's market

We’re so lucky here in Nova Scotia to have such incredible markets. From Sydney to Yarmouth, you can find local markets all over our province where farmers sell their freshest seasonal products.

In addition to being great places to shop, farmers’ markets are also known for being vibrant community hubs. Often you’ll find an array of unique handmade goods from Nova Scotia artisans and crafters.

It’s the perfect time of year to visit your local market, with harvest season just around the corner. Let the fresh ingredients guide your menu. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, take a summer road trip somewhere new and explore the local flavour.
