Ingredients
6 slices smoked bacon, cut in half and partially cooked
6 figs, cut in half
½ cup balsamic vinegar
toothpicks
Directions
Wrap each fig half in a half slice of bacon, secure with a toothpick
Place in a baking pan coated in cooking spray, seam side down
Bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes, or until bacon is brow
While the figs are in the oven, add the balsamic to a small saucepan, heat over medium low until the balsamic is reduced down to a syrup like consistency, stirring often
Drizzle a small amount of the balsamic reduction over the bacon wrapped figs and serve with a glass of Carmenère
