Welcome to the NSLC, where you’ll find a world of responsible enjoyment, friendly, knowledgeable employees and an unwavering commitment to excellent customer service.
We’re Nova Scotia’s largest retailer and our network includes over 100 retail stores, 63 agency stores, four private wine & specialty stores and one standalone cannabis store. We also serve as a wholesaler to more than 2000 bars and restaurants across the province. We offer a world-class selection of more than 5000 products from around the globe and we support local producers and help them bring their products to market.
We offer cannabis in 16 NSLC locations across the province with 15 of those stores being a store within our store concept. Our only standalone store, Clyde Street in Halifax, offers a greater product selection with about 300 products. We offer a wide selection of more than 400 products online and about 150 in our regular store-in a-store retail locations.
We’re a provincial crown corporation and it’s our mandate to manage the safe and responsible distribution and sale of beverage alcohol and cannabis. We take that responsibility very seriously and our policies and programs – like our Keep the Good Going Program – help us make sure that’s always the case.
All of our profits go back to the province to fund public programs and services. We have a team of more than 1400 employees living and working in or near just about every community in Nova Scotia. We’re a dynamic company that’s always striving to improve – our service, our stores, our selection and our business processes.
We’re focused on today and we’re excited about the future. We know we have a role to play in helping to create one Nova Scotia where people can thrive in a diverse and growing economy. We’re also committed to operating our business sustainably, by reducing our footprint – in our Stores, Head Office and Distribution Centre.
We believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. Every year we raise money to support causes that are important to Nova Scotians, like the IWK Health Centre, and Feed Nova Scotia, who provides food security through food distribution, education and collaboration. We raise money through our Cash Can Program for lots of smaller causes too. Giving back is part of who we are.
We’re committed to living our values – to be Knowledgeable, Responsible, Respectful, Engaged, and Optimistic. We’re a Nova Scotian owned and operated company and we’re working each and every day to build a strong legacy that all Nova Scotians can take pride in.
