Halifax Pride

The Halifax Pride Society's aim is an equitable society free from all forms of oppression, with the purpose of creating spaces for persons of diverse sexual and gender identities to come together and flourish. The Halifax Pride Festival supports this by featuring 150 community and Pride-organized events celebrating the history, culture, activism, and perseverance of the queer community.  

To support the Halifax Pride Society, Bud Light will be donating $10,000. Garrison Brewing will donate $0.50 per can of Garrison Queer Summer Beer sold during pride month. The Weekender Peach Mango will be donating $1.00 for every product sold.

Egale

Egale's mission is to improve the lives of 2SLGBTQI people in Canada and to enhance the global response to 2SLGBTQI issues. Egale will achieve this by informing public policy, inspiring cultural change, and promoting human rights and inclusion through research, education, awareness, and legal advocacy. 

To support the Egale, Lake City Cider will donate $0.25 per can of Lake City District Pride Rose sold.

Rainbow Railroad

Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps LGTBQI+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics. Since its founding, they have helped over 7,621 LGBTQI+ individuals find safety through emergency relocation and other forms of assistance. 

To support Rainbow Railroad, Sour Puss will be donating $10,000.

Rainbow Refugee

Rainbow Refugee promotes safe, equitable migration and communities of belonging for people fleeing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status. 

To support Rainbow Refugee Halifax, Chain Yard Cider will donate $0.25 per can of Chain Yard Bee-You Cider sold.
