Bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese

Who doesn't love bacon? Add elegance to the presentation by removing the skewers and replacing with rosemary sprigs.


12 dates, pitted

3 oz goat cheese

6 slices thick cut bacon, halved



1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. Gently pull apart the centre of the dates. Stuff with goat cheese.

3. Wrap with a slice of bacon, securing the end with a toothpick.

4. Repeat with all remaining dates.

5. Bake on a parchment- or tin foil-lined baking sheet for 20 minutes, flipping after 10 minutes.

6. Transfer to a serving platter.
