After a long winter, just the thought of barbecuing al fresco gets most Nova Scotian’s mouths watering. Whether you’re cooking-up hotdogs and hamburgers or a fine choice cut of meat, put some more sizzle in the season with one of these unique wines that are guaranteed to pair well with whatever you’re cooking over the coals. This release features classic South American grill companions from Argentina and Chile along with a variety of Europeans from France and Italy. While they all will taste amazing on their own, each is truly great for grilling.

This Reserve is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot aged between six and eight months is a combination of French and American oak barrels. Look for an intensely fruited aroma of prunes, blackberries, toasted oak, vanilla and black pepper that repeat across the concentrated, well-rounded fruit flavour. A very ripe wine with a long, lingering finish.
