with Jamie Johnson, The Balvenie Canadian Brand Ambassador
The Balvenie's whisky-making process is dedicated to maintaining the Five Rare Crafts and they are the only distillery in Scotland that still grows its own barley, uses traditional floor maltings and keeps both a coppersmith and a team of coopers on site. Discover The Balvenie through a guided tasting that includes:

  • The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 YO
  • The Balvenie Double Wood 17 YO
  • The Balvenie Port Wood 21 YO

with Bill Somerville, Canadian Brand Ambassador for Benromach and Gordon & MacPhail
Gordon & MacPhail is an independent, family owned and managed firm which has been bottling Single Malt Whiskies for over 120 years. Ever since the early days of whisky production, distilleries have appeared and disappeared. This has littered the Scottish landscape with the remains of historical distilling. Through Gordon & MacPhail’s history and deep heritage within the whisky industry, they still bring these rare whiskies to consumers.

To this day, Gordon & MacPhail are maturing casks from distilleries that closed decades ago, showcasing them through a 'Rare Old' range. These are whiskies from another era - some are from distilleries no longer in operation, others from distilleries that no longer exist. Experience a guided tasting of unique selections from these lost, or "ghost" distilleries, including:

  • Rare Old Glenlochy (exclusive)
  • Rare Old Convalmore (exclusive)
  • Lochside Rare Old 1981

Miles and miles of peat bog in the west of the island provide the raw material whose influence so characterizes the south eastern Islay malts, of which Lagavulin is perhaps best known. Get to know Lagavulin through a guided tasting that includes:

  • Lagavulin 8 YO
  • Lagavulin 12 YO
  • Lagavulin Distillers Edition

Each of Laphroaig's award-winning whiskies is the end result of a spirit matured in a range of different woods and casks, and the product of a 200 year old tradition of unique whisky making. Get to know Laphroaig through a guided tasting that includes:

  • Laphroaig Select
  • Laphroaig Lore
  • Laphroaig 27 YO (exclusive)

with Cameron Millar, The Macallan Brand Ambassador
The Macallan’s Curiously Small Stills are amongst the smallest on Speyside. Their unique size and shape give the spirit maximum contact with the copper, helping to concentrate the ‘new make’ spirit and provide the rich, fruity, full-bodied flavours characteristic of The Macallan. Get to know The Macallan through a guided tasting of three products exclusive to this event, including:

  • The Macallan Classic Cut (exclusive)
  • The Macallan Rare Cask (exclusive)
  • The Macallan Reflexion (exclusive)
