This sweet and spicy snack is a real crowd pleaser.
1 cup raw almonds
a few spoonfuls maple syrup
a splash of vegetable oil
chili powder to taste
a dash of cayenne pepper
salt to taste
1. Toss a cup of raw almonds with a couple of spoonfuls of maple syrup, a bit of vegetable oil and a shake or two of chili powder, cayenne pepper and salt.
2. Bake the almonds at 350°F for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow your almonds to cool and serve with something ice-cold and refreshing.
