Potato Gruye

Potato gruyere tart

This tart makes a great appetizer or serve alongside a light salad for brunch or lunch.

Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
4 fingerling potatoes, sliced very thinly
1 cup Gruyère cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/8 tsp nutmeg
Pinch salt
Pinch pepper

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. out the puff pastry to fit a 9” tart pan and refrigerate until the oven is preheated.
3. Spread half the cheese on the pastry shell.
4. Working from the outer rim, layer potatoes, overlapping them in a spiral pattern.
5. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
6. Cover with remaining cheese.
7. Pour cream evenly over the top.
8. Bake until golden brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.
9. Remove from pan and serve
