Of course, all Caesars are technically Canadian—in the States they prefer tomato juice to Clamato. But it gets even more Canuck in this quirky cocktail, which mixes the classic ideals of the world famous Caesar with whisky instead of vodka.
1 fl oz Rye Whiskey
1/2 fl oz lime juice
Clamato juice
Mixed peppercorns, cracked
Dash of pepper
Dash of celery salt
4 dashes of Worcestershire
2 dashes of Tabasco
Spicy pickled green bean
1. Using a lowball glass, rim with a slice of lime and then dip into the cracked peppercorns.
2. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
3. Add the whiskey, then fill with the Clamato juice.
4. Add the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce; stir gently.
5. Garnish with a spicy pickled green bean.
