    Who says you can only get a fancy coffee at your local café? Even if you don’t have an espresso machine, there’s a simple and easy trick to make a tasty espresso-based drink at home—foam and all.

    3 fl oz strong, freshly brewed coffee

    1 cup of 2% milk

    Ground cinnamon or nutmeg, to garnish

    Directions

    Place milk in a cocktail shaker. Shake until milk is frothy. Pour into a microwaveable container. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Place warm coffee in a mug. Pour warm milk into the mug using a large spoon to hold back froth. Top the café latte with froth and sprinkle with ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
