Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese

The Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese is a tasty appetizer that features pitted dates, goat cheese and slices of thick, cut bacon.

Ingredients

12 dates, pitted

3 oz goat cheese

6 slices thick cut bacon, halved

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. Gently pull apart the center of the dates and stuff with goat cheese.

3. Wrap with a slice of bacon, securing the end with a toothpick and repeat with all remaining dates.

4. Bake on a parchment- or tin foil-lined baking sheet for 20 minutes, flipping after 10 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter.

Tip: For an elegant presentation, remove the skewers and replace with rosemary sprig.
