The Réveillon features sparkling wine, gin and raw sugar. Best served with a twist grapefruit for garnish.
1 wedge grapefruit, juiced
1 oz Gin
1 tsp raw sugar (or brown sugar)
2 to 3 oz sparkling wine
Twist grapefruit, for garnish
1. Place grapefruit juice, gin and sugar in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
2. Shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a coupe glasses.
4. Top with your favourite dry sparkling wine, such as Bouvet Brut.
5. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit.
6. Twist over the glasses to release oils before placing in drinks.
