Directions
1. Cut the pastry into stars using a cookie cutter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
2. Make an egg wash by whisking together egg yolk and water.
3. Brush pastry stars with the egg wash.
4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over stars and season with pepper.
5. Place in freezer for 45 minutes.
6. Once the hors d’oeuvres are frozen, transfer to freezer bags to save space.
7. To serve, bake for 45 minutes at an oven preheated to 400°F.
8. If baking them without freezing, adjust the cooking time to approximately 30 minutes.
