Nova Scotia is a camping lover’s dream province. It’s
actually difficult to find a bad campground.
They’re all so beautiful! Here are a few of our
favourites.
Cape Breton Highlands National Park
Located on northern Cape Breton, this treasured
national park features truly incredible ocean and
mountain views. There are multiple campgrounds
within the park and plenty of hiking trails and
beaches to explore.
Ovens Natural Park
A beautiful private campground on the South Shore
that’s named for the unique, and dramatic, sea caves
throughout the park that “boom” when the waves
enter them at high tide.
Five Islands Provincial Park
Take in the famous Bay of Fundy tides at this
seaside campground. Campers can go clam digging
and fossil hunting while the tide is out.
Caribou and Monroe’s Island Provincial Park
Located just outside Pictou, this Northumberland
Shore campground
has a mile-long sandy beach with
some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of
the Caribbean.
